Ted Turner!

Ted Turner Jr. of Thackerville, Oklahoma is known by many in the horse industry as one of the greatest all-time Halter trainers.  Ted won his first World Championship in 1972 with an Appaloosa and since then he has won more than 125 ApHC World Championships, over 45 APHA World Championships and at least 25 PHBA World  Championships.  He chose to make the move to Quarter Horse from Appaloosas toward the end of 1982.  At his first Congress in 1983,  Ted took home Grand Champion Gelding, Reserve Grand Champion Mare, and the Weanling Stallion class win and has brought home countless Congress Championships since.  In addition to his many great wins, he has taken home 73 AQHA World Championships, winning more than any open exhibitor in history.  Ted also reached a milestone during his legendary career by breaking his mentor,  Jerry Wells’ record in 2006.

Caroline Rider's
W.O.H.A.T. debut!

Between Caroline’s passionate presentations on horse-human relationships, to her inspiring liberty and freestyle demonstrations with her horses, Caroline Rider is becoming one of the equine industries most popular clinicians and performers.

Caroline has spent her entire life around horses, beginning with her first lesson at the age of 4. As a young girl she showed and worked locally for a riding instructor while taking care of her beloved, backyard equine Brandy. It was during this time that her view of being, and working with horses began to shift, motivating her to seek a more harmonious way in which to be with them and communicate her requests when training and working.

Scott Purdum Coming To W.O.H.A.T.

Scott has ridden, owned, and worked around horses all his life. He was riding by age 3 and immediately his parents recognized his love and natural abilities towards these animals. A few months after he had been taking lessons under the guidance of his trainer Jill Price, Scott became anxious to get his own horse. After a brief search Scott picked out his first horse which his parents purchased for him. Scott began his show career at age 6 and has continued riding and showing hunters and pleasure horses since.
